CTU contributes 1.25 Million to defeat Prop 8

It is amazing to me that the California Teachers Union contributed a whopping 1.25 million dollars in an effort to defeat Proposition 8. This is a blatant manifestation of where they stand on the issue of homosexual marriage, and how their agenda is to indoctrinate school children with this belief system. I wrote a letter to David Sanchez, the President of the CTU at dsanchez@cta.org to express how offensive this is to me. I encourage you to do the same. One California teacher shown on this blog explains his contempt for the CTU. Critics of Prop 8 may insist that it has nothing to do with education, but the previous examples show that it definitely does. The indoctrinization of young children is already happening in Massachusetts, as shown in Robb and Robin Wirthlin's story. Let's keep up the fight to define marriage as between one man and one woman!

Just wanted to get your opinion on an idea that may or may not be a good approach. I have heard about people searching for proposition 8 in google and then clicking on the “yes on prop 8″ or “no on prop8″ paid ad links multiple times that appear at the top of the search results in google. Each time someone clicks on these links it is costing that campaign money. I guess clicking on the “no on prop 8″ ad is costing Hollywood stars like Ellen money they donated to the no on 8 campaign. I imagine if you were to break out the donations made to each campaign that the yes on 8 campaign’s donations have been made by at least twice as many people as the amount of people contributing to the “no on 8 campaign”. The majority of donations made to the “no on 8″ campaign have been made by Hollywood stars like Brad Pitt, Ellen Degeneres, and Steven Spielberg. Don’t forget the CTA, is it a bad idea for people who feel betrayed by the $1.2 million donation made by the CTA to fight back by clicking on the “no on prop 8″ paid search link multiple times each day? What do you think……

I applaud all that you are doing. This issue is so frightening to me and, like you said, the future of our country depends on Prop 8 passing. I can't believe that all the signs were stolen and I also can't believe a lesbian wedding being considered a "field trip." It is scary to think what our children will be facing in the future if we don't stand up for the correct definition of marriage.

I'm not sure how that works--whether or not it costs a campaign money when their link is clicked on. It may be a better use of time to search out, comment on, view, and rate the sites that we know are YES on Prop 8. You'd have to ask someone more techy than me to know definitively.
